Fedor lost last night and the man to give him his first loss in 10 years was Fabricio Werdum

It only took 1:09 for Fedor to tap to a triangle choke, Fedor managed to knock down Werdum early but left himself open and was caught with the triangle

Let’s be honest this does the change the fact that Fedor still has to been seen as the best  heavyweight and it happens to all fighters as they all lose in the end as last night proved someone will catch you with a submission or a KO

I know this had to have pleased Dana White who simpley tweeted 😀

For those that may not know Futurama is coming back to Comedy Central this Thursday at 10pm/9c and for those that have never seen this amazing show (shame on you) and to me is now better than The Simpsons anyway the good folks over at Comedy Central have provided a recap to get you started.

I tried to post the video but it won’t allow me to so here is the link

So this season was coached by Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz who was replaced by Rich Franklin for the last episode due to Tito needing surgery and pulling out of his fight with Chuck, to be honest I’ve only seen one episode this season so I won’t make a prediction on the TUF fights as I have no idea what these guys fight like or anything.

Matt Hamill vs. Keith Jardine – I think Jardine is better fighter but Hamill is strong as an ox and can last in fight but I think ‘The Dean of Mean’ will win by decision

Chris Leben vs. Aaron Simpson – You always know with Leben that your going to get a stand up fight and I think he will win by Round 2 Knock Out

Spencer Fisher vs. Dennis Siver – I think Round 3 submission in Siver favor

I know it’s very short but there you go!

No this is not the name of the new Call of Duty game but rather some fan made Call of Duty film and it’s excellent. Made for about $600 this is a great short film and really feels like the game it self and the look and feel is exactly like a COD game, it just amazes me how big budget films on games get it so wrong all the time yet some fans with very little money happen to make this and it stays true to the games.

As you may know today Microsoft had their E3 announcements

A new black Xbox 360 slim is to be hitting stores this week that has a 250 gig HD and also has built in WiFi which is a first for the Xbox and it comes with a price tag of $299, plus everyone that was at the event today got one for free

ESPN is coming to Xbox live at no extra cost for Gold members with 3,500 events live and on demand but no date yet to when its coming

Kinect which was once known as Project Natel hits stores Nov. 4th but still no price as for yet but a gamestop pre order link has it at $150

It will have 15 game at launch which is a high amount and those game announced are Kinectimals, Motionsports,  Kinect Adventures, Biggest Loser, Joyride, Kinect Sports, Dance Central, Sonic Free Riders, Kinectimals, and EA Active.

Even if I hated the ending of Fable II, Fable III is coming out October 26th

They showed footage of Metal Gear Solid: Rising and having been a fan of the very first game on the PS1 I can’t wait to be able to play MGS on a 360

There was also Gears of War 3 and Halo: Reach footage

With Windows Phone 7 you will be able to sync it with your Xbox Live account to view friends, achievements etc

For Call Of Duty fans it was announced that all map packs would hit the 360 first

All in all a good day for Microsoft with Kinect, the slim 360 and the ESPN news

Having an Xbox as my console of choice a motion controller is not at the top of my list as the Wii has one with only a handful of games that are worth playing anyway for E3 it’s been announced that Project Natal is to be named “Kinect”. For me I like the name Natal more. Plus rumor has it Kinect could cost $149.99 which to be honest is very expensive for a controller so my hope would be that they have a use for it in all future games and not gimmick games as, as much as I enjoy playing the Wii when I go to people’s house it always seems that we end up laying Will Bowling and when it comes to play $150 plus $60 for a game I want a better experience that will hold up, now I’m fine with parts of games using the Kinect in the gameplay but I don’t want it to feel tacked onto a game just for the sake of having it there

Tech Blog engadget had posted pics of a unit that may very well be the Kinect unit but there have been no pics released from Microsoft yet.
Plus some games announced as well

Kinectimals where you play with virtual animals.

Joyride which as you can tell is a racing game where players steer with their hands.

Kinect Sports which like Wii Sports has your Boxing, bowling, beach volleyball, track and field, soccer and table tennis.

Kinect Adventures which is a River rafting  game

Dance Central which is a dancing version of So You Think You Can Dance.

Plus some Star Wars and Disney Games

Like I said above for the price tag I hope they bundle in a game or something as the high price point may put off people who are willing to spend money but are having to be careful with there money.
